In Spring of 2022, the Dean and Barbara White Family Foundation donated $1 million to the Multi Agency Academic Cooperative (MAAC) Foundation for the construction of a Residential Tactical Training Village that is designed to improve teamwork and public safety. The MAAC Foundation is a first responder training organization based in Northwest Indiana dedicated to providing captivating, true to life training experiences.
In a walkable neighborhood, the new training village enhances the quality of training officers receive by providing them real-life training environments for fire/EMS scenarios and law enforcement street approaches. In addition to a single-story house, a two-story house, and a mobile home, the training village will also contain multiple garages, decks, and patios that resemble a small community.

We have made HUGE strides at MAAC over the past five years in providing training facilities for our dedicated first responders. I could not be more proud than to have the White Foundation join us in such a significant way. This donation will take us to the next level!”
